The spreadsheet is not your WMS

Depending on complexity, the right answer might be:

tighter fulfilment events via integrations,
a lightweight custom dashboard for supervisors,
or a fuller internal workflow tool when you have multiple locations and exception-heavy processes.

The decision should be driven by error cost, not aesthetics.
